15th End of Season dinner

 
 

In case you missed our dinner for some reason, we put it on writing.
On 5th January we hold our 15th End of Season dinner at Shanghai Fraternity Association! It was a great evening filling with great shanghaiese cruises, some games testing your fitness after few glasses of wine, awards and lot of lucky draw, in a room with 40 of Sonic!

Looking back 2018 is full of colour, first of all we formed committee board and thanks for the help from Brian and my wife Gigi. We welcome and have more new joiners coming to our training and free trialing our sessions. We ran two Sonic Time Trial, We organised two Triathlon seminar to help members better prepare the oversea races and knowledge sharing. We launched personal training program to help member better train towards their target races.
We have a successful season opening in Saipan Tagaman Triathlon, and our Sonic Trisuit start flying high in IRONMAN 70.3 Vietnam, Shanghai, and start seeing members winning and rank high in their age groups. We produced three qualifiers to IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship in 2019. We have one representative in IRONMAN World Championship in Kona 2018. All these little things built us to TriClub 8th in TriHK club ranking in Hong Kong. Ranked 2nd in IM TriClub in Asia, and 4th in China. (Division V) We are the triathlon club mixed with 67% male and 33% female in average age 36 the golden era!

Forward looking 2019, ‘See Triathlon training as a lifestyle’ we continue to maintain consistent and quality training to adult no matter they are looking for fitness gain and balance lifestyle, or the triathletes who aim for race performance and personal best. We will nominate our members if they consider to pursuit exposure in sports management, gain more knowledge in sports coaching or willing to involve in race organisation as a volunteers or race officials.

In 2019 we will raise the bar, set higher goal to yourself, and flying high with our team jersey, tell the world teamsonic is one great team!
