2019 TriHK Age-Group Triathlon

Today 5th May the Festival of Sports TriHK Age-Group Triathlon, at our home court, the usual race route Plover Cove, but the unusual weather of May. Weather god gave everyone a test. It’s not about the wave, the current, the hill climb or the heat. It’s about how your mentality drive you from your 3am alarm towards the race start under the inclement weather condition. The condition wasn’t bad enough for race cancellation, but enough to give you a second though to stay home and resulted more than 100 DNS out of 700 total participants.

And we Team Sonic, 22 on the start list, 10 podium finishers, few improvers and few PBs! Great mindset!! Very well done on this mid-year fitness test, especially those been training hard over the winter months!
